GC412 – Mnemonics – Mnemonic Reflections (Journal Entry)
GC412-S3 – Mnemonic Reflections – Mnemonics increase retention of knowledge by aligning patterns and meaningful associations with new information. The new information may be steps, stages, parts or phases. The new information may be steps, stages, parts of phases. Following lesson, Alexa or Instructor will guide students, individually, with a partner, in a small group and/or class to create Mnemonic Reflections. First, students will be directed to generate a list of key points and the first letter of each word. Then, with a brainstorming tool, a new word or sentence using the first letter of keywords will be created to complete the mnemonic.
