GC401-S2 – Listing Generator Review – For review, the Instructor and/or Alexa will direct students to participate in a Listing Generator Tour of one or more Listing Stations. A Listing Generator Station is a whiteboard, large butcher paper, poster, or flip chart sheet displaying an open-ended question requesting a full list of components, steps, or processes related to the lesson.  Our brain loves lists.  It boosts the brain, organizes your thoughts  and uses parts of the brain that might not normally get used. Placing things in a listing format makes it much easier to process and retain content.  (Examples of a Listing Question – Good Job Interview Skills, Qualities of Good Character, CPR Steps, etc…)

1. From their desk, each student will complete one or more responses of individual components or steps on sticky notes for each station.
2. When requested, students will attach their sticky notes to each Listing Station, maintaining any crucial sequence, if applicable.  (Tip – A Student Passcode may be used to ensure anonymity of the student’s response.)
3. Last, if there is more than one station, small groups will be assigned to each station to select the best responses and share with the class.
